FIND. GO. DO... and then keep doing.
Volunteering
It takes one simple step forward. In this current digital age you can find anything and everything online. Search for Schools, Libraries, Food pantries, Theater houses, Historical Societies, Conservation groups, Museums, Annual fund raising events, Fire departments, Elderly care facilities, Children group homes, Animal shelters... What do you care about? What bothers you? Do you feel a local softball team needs uniforms? Great. Do something about that. Do the children walking about after school concern you? Volunteer as a crossing guard. Do you feel the elderly are the forgotten? Read to them. This is your invitation! There is a problem with your name on it —find it. Start small. Test it out. Be humble, but be passionate. You were created for more.... to create solutions, to inspire hope, to love others by giving of yourself. |
The Arts
More than ever, the Arts needs friends! Those who believe in promoting the message that the Humanities are absolutely essential to our society, communities and families. —We are sunk without the Arts! How can you help the advancement of the Arts? Find local artist, organizations, committees, or events that have something positive to convey to the world through the Arts, then get involved in what they are doing. Help out and serve. Lend your time, gifts, fiances, or real estate space. Help raise funds. Use your networking skills to help advance their message or event. Tip: Subscribe to Newsletters! It's a great way to know what's happening with causes, artists, and organizations you care about. Many let you know they need help in advance through newsletters. Easy! |
Nothing is impossible. Make the world better because you came!
Go love and serve well.
